Have you ever tried EFT tapping for anxiety? Nick Ortner of The Tapping Solution shares a simple, introductory, three-minute EFT tapping technique you can do anywhere to instantly reduce stress and even stop a panic attack. Follow along with these steps: 1. Close your eyes, and tune into your breath. 2. Start tapping on the side of one hand (the “karate-chop point”) with four fingers of the other hand. 3. Tap through face points, including the edge of the eyebrow, temples, cheekbones, upper lip, chin, collarbone, under the arm, and top of the head. 4. Close your eyes, and return to your breath. So many of us think the two are separate, when rather them being two unified pieces of a greater whole in regards to performance in life. Just as they say on airplanes to put your own oxygen mask before assisting others, we need to prioritize self care in our lives to keep our vessel full and vibrant with energy. Over the years, I’ve taken my love for bass music and began to incorporate personal guided meditations over my tracks. It has taken years before I could begin sharing this side of me with you all. It is a vulnerable place to be in when you’ve spent the past decade sharing limited aspects of one’s self. I am deeply honored to walk this path with you. Breathwork is not advised for persons with severe mental illness or seizure disorders or for persons using major medications. It is also unsuitable for anyone with a personal or family history of aneurysms. Pregnant women are advised against practicing Breathwork without first consulting and getting approval from their primary care physician. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician.
